Health Insurance Changes

Known as Lifetime Community Rating, new legislation, due to come into effect on May 1st 2015, is designed to encourage individuals to take out private health insurance at a younger age, thereby keeping the annual cost of health insurance more affordable for everyone.    Recent years have seen a drop in younger adults taking out health insurance. Community rated markets such as the one in Ireland depend on a continuing entry of younger people, as younger people claim less on average and their continuing participation keeps costs down for everybody.  Click here for the full story.

J.F.Dunne Insurances Great Dublin Swim

Get fit, stay in shape.  J.F.Dunne Insurances are continuing their sponsorship of The Great Dublin Swim, and it returns this year with more race options from beginners to seasoned competitors, wet suit and non wet suit categories.  The event takes place in the Liffey, starting and finishing beside the Sean O'Casey Bridge on Custom House Quay, Dublin, on July 18th 2015 from 12:00 to 16:00.  Click here for more information.
